I have a Gigabyte GA-8KNXP MB and would like to know if there is any software utility that can monitor some of the things seen while in the BIOS setup. Specifically, is there a Windows program that would permit me to monitor in realtime the temp of the CPU? Being able to see the fan speeds would be nice as well!

Thanks,

got this with my ABIT IC7-G cd .. Winbond Hardware Doctor - you might try it. try Abit's site and see ... i didn't find it off hand.

Also, there's another one called motherboard monitor:

Your Gigabyte mobo should come with some Windows utility that monitors the system. Otherwise, get motherboard monitor like the last guy said. It's pretty good and free too.

Go here: <A HREF="http://tw.giga-byte.com/" target="_new">http://tw.giga-byte.com/&lt;/A> and download Gigabytes Easy Tune 4 Utility. It will show you all kinds of Bios info. Or get motherboard monitor 5 (free but you have to set it up by slecting what temp monitoring chips to monitor).
