I have recently changed from an old Win98 PC to a new XP (Media Centre). I
have a flatbed scanner (USB) with the brand name Packard Bell (though I
_believe_ it was made by Mustek) and a type number on it of PB61248. It was
new in 2000.
The old driver CD which came with it seems to be incompatible with XP as I
get a warning message if I try to install it.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a source of updated drivers for
this?
I know I could get a new scanner, but this one is quite adequate for my
needs and it seems pointless to change it if it can be made to work.
I have e-mailed PB and Mustek, but have, as yet, not got a reply.
