I have picked up a 2nd wired xbox controller for my pc thinking that it would be great to play 2 player in a lot of my games.
My system has recognized the 2nd controller and listed it as being there.
For example I want to play 2 player in mortal combat.
It says to press start for 2nd player to join but nothing happens...there seems to be no response or functionality in any of the games I have tried in regards to using both of the controllers?>
In this day and age of technology ...there must be a way to use them both?......

I have two Wireless 360 X-box controllers and they work fine. Look up Xbox 360 Accessories. That's the program that runs that allows up to 4 controllers to work. I'm going to be getting a USB one for my son's computer.

there is a download software on the right side... try that and if that doesn't work maybe there is some 3rd Party created software out there that might help.

Thanks for your help.
I downloaded the software but It does not help my predicament.
Maybe its because I have the 2 controllers listed in my system under the same name?
