I just got a new gaming computer that i build myself and it is amazing compared to my old one. The thing is that i get what seems like unusually low framerates in World of Warcraft. I was thinking that due to WoW's lack of good graphics, I should be able to get higher fps that what I get now. Maybe its just me having higher expectations of my computer... In any case, can someone clarify what fps i can expect with my current rig using high settings, 1680x1050 resolution, and 1xAA in WoW.
Just for comparison, here are some benchmark results...
3D Mark Vantage: Performance Settings ~~ CPU score: 22012 / GPU score: 12370 / Overall: 13891 Crysis: DX10 1680x1050 AA=No AA, 64 bit test, Quality: VeryHigh ~~ Minimum: 21.68 / Maximum: 34.72 / Overall Average FPS: 29.61
Crysis Warhead: DirectX 10 ENTHUSIAST 3X @ Map: frost flythrough @ 8 1680 x 1050 AA 0xx ==> Framerate [ Min: 21.20 Max: 35.31 Avg: 28.12 ]
World in Conflict: DX10 1680x1050 Quality: VeryHigh ~~ Minimum: 30 / Maximum: 115 / Overall Average FPS: 58
World of Warcraft: 1680x1050 1xAA High Settings(one under Ultra), i get 45fps on average in Dalaran
