I am trying to help a friend. He is going to wipe out his Hard drive
and re-install everything. We're trying to save all his e-mail and
address book. We exported his address book to a file and found it.
When we try to export messages, it goes through it's thing saying it
will export to Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Outlook. We can't
fine where it went... any ideas or help

thanks

Export is only for exporting to Outlook or Exchange, either of which
have to be installed for this to work. If you want to save your mail and
import back into OE after the format, then use this link for all
information required.
