Since il wait to get into COD when Modern warfare 2 is released i need a filler between now and then

Would TF2 be worth it? are there alot of custom maps or can you use custom maps? is it still popular?

BF2 is hella cheap so is it still popular? decent mods too look out for?

are there any other games i should look out for? any with a great re play value online wise?

I have nothing MP wise...and uhh single pleyer games...you get the idea :whistle:

So just looking for decent online play atm...i believe i will give TF2 a look...i love Battlefield Heroes!

BF2 i just started playing again for kicks since i stopped a few months after release, in truth a terrible game that fails in so many respects especially the part where a trained soldier can't shoot in the same place twice and a sniper rifle that can penetrate armoured glass can't kill a person with one shot or again, hit the same spot twice.

As always i recommend Red orchestra, fantastic game and always some other people online maybe not tons but quality players none the less.

Ahhh so what would be the best MMORPG? this something i would love to enjoy but from what iv seen on the market there really isn't anything well populated and popular

I looked at wow....how much exactly is it a month? i really wouldn't mind trying it out since i have a nice setup for wow :D

I still play BF2 and there are plenty of servers still and mods, it is awesome!!! I just bought team fortress 2 and I love that. Started playing Eve online as my mmo and love that too. Oh and Left4Dead. Ya cant go wrong with those

The other mmo i played was lord of the rings, and that is very good. But I needed some pew pew action so now play eve :)

for me atlantica online, rohan, cabal and ragnarok are good mmos. I want to try that lotr of yours but i heard that game is a p2p one right?

Meh.

Left 4 Dead gpt repetitive the first night me and my buddy did splitscreen....its a great game just not alot of replay value...

Il definitely try out those mmos soon :D

Left for dead should get a lot lot better once the SDK is released and new maps start cranking out. The DLC released some new vs maps and a survival mode. which keeps me entertained for now. lotr is pve based but with designated "arenas" for pvp, its very pretty and if its a fantasy mmo u are lookin for its worth giving the trial a bash, never played warcraft so dunno how it compares to that.

That is good to know...i may actually buy left 4 dead than....a change to the core gameplay with zombies that take more shots or atleast get up etc would make the game have a whole lot more of a replay value for me....a 100 or so zombies running in a mob is fun but after the first 5 times its just too easy...

I'm still waiting on Mw2, SC2, Mass effect 2, and pretty much every new game I will buy.
I got my rig all ponied up for them ^_^ ( Except I need my second 4870x2 )
