CDrom/FLOPPY INTERCHANGEABLE?!?!?!

bought a used compaq armada 7400. model 6300/t/6400/d/m/1
Since the cdrom and floppy drive are interchangeable how do I install windows?
When the boot disk asks me should I start with CD rom support and I click yes
it generates an error cause it can't find the cdrom.

how do I overcome this?

Try installing without CD rom support...It should install without drivers needed from floppy, if not, you might need a USB floppy.

Change the order of boot order and try again. CD-Rom boot first.

The windows installation CD's are bootable, so you should not need a floppy at all.
