I have the same , you'll be happy with the performance & features & packaged goodies.
My only minor gripes were , had to get a different HSF (no holes around CPu for SLK800) , only 1 fan header , wish they put power cable connector away from CPU like
ASUS does.
other than these MINOR isues , this thing is Rock solid , FAST & good looking ( esp. if you have a window case )
the red PCB matches my Gainward video card perfectly , they almost look as one
Happy computing

how well does it overclock randy? I have a zalman cooler coming, so no worries about the holes for me, nor the single fan header as the 120MM comes off a standard molex. have you used the SATA? does it work well? how is the sound quality? My new PC based on this board should be here no later than the 30th of this month (friday I guess).

oh and my Sapphire ATI 9500np is a nice red 9700 PCB based 9500 and that is going to look really nice. I have no window (YET!) when I do I will have SATA cables on my 2 40GB IBM deathstars and a round red ata cable on my optical drives. Plus a cool blue light in my case. I figure that the blue and red will contrast well. I may even have a superman S put on the window (red and blue ;). I have no other expansion cards. I also will have to change out my black 120x120x25 sunon fan for a clear one with blue led.

Just a computer junky
Edited by Maverick494 on 05/28/03 07:30 PM.

Sounds excellent. Did you have the SLK800U? Because I think the normal one just uses the three prong dealy. Also did you have any trouble installing the headers? Ive read that the board is a little fat and one of them touches the bios
