I'm not able to connect to the internet directly using any #777 dialed
method that I have seen around.
I have a verizon Samsung A530 with a futuredial data cable using the
futuredial drivers and quicklink mobile to set up the connection
(although I've tried just setting it up directly).
I can communicate with the phone/modem and I even an able to call in
to my regular ISP at 14.4 baud (or is it 19.2...whatever). I have
NA-MOU enabled on my phone (it was enabled from the start - the
beginning of the month), but when I try to connect directly through
verizon, the "modem" thinks it connects but cannot communicate
(looking at the modem log, after dialing basically instantaneously,
the modem returns a CONNECT signal, but CD never goes high - if you
know what that sort of thing is about). When I call #777 directly
(just by hand) I get a voice message that "your phone is not
authorized for this service" but I definitely do have EN-MOU enabled
on my account. I can't even connect through Quick2Net - nothing using
the #777 dial up works.
Is there anything else I need to enable/set up to get it working?
What do most people (who can get EN-MOU to work) hear when they dial
#777 by hand?
