Sims 2 uni installation problems

I bought the sims 2 uni and it it installs fine but then when you click on it after installation it doesn't start up.
I have tried installing and uninstalling and have downloaded sims 2 patch but it still doesn't work ?

You have to be more specific. What version of Windows are you using? What are your system specs? Does anything appear on screen when the game fails to start? It's possible your computer is too weak to run Sims 2.
