I just bought Call of Duty World at War for my PC all excited about playing online multiplayer. Amazingly in the 2 weeks that I have owned it I have not seen any online servers to play the game. What gives?

Am I doing something wrong? I click REFRESH LIST and no servers come up. I have tried different times of the day and everything. Even on Memorial Day no one is playing. I would think there would be at least 100 some odd people playing online with the PC.

Is the game really that unpopular or what? How can I get an online match?

make sure your up-to-date with version 1.4 you can get the updates from the downloads section of the site below.

heres the website of the clan I'm in with server IPs listed on the right.
the WAR! server has people in it every night! it has been ranked in the top 50 servers its still in the top 100.

How do you install these patches? I am looking for the instructions. Do you just unzip them to the COD folder? Or do you just unzip anywhere and go through the set up?

you have to go the call of duty headquaters www.callofduty.com/update and scroll down to the bottom of the page download the 1.2 & 1.3 patchs BUT becarful what web sites you get the patchs from the best bet would be to click the first link. This will take you away from the call of duty page and open up a new window on that page it will say something like download or wait when the download box appers click run NOT save and then an install wizzard will come up and go through the install stages.

i would recommend down loading the 1.2 & 1.3 patchs but you will lose the extreme power ranking servers hope this works heres the links i used to download the patchs

1.3 patch - http://www.filefront.com/13411089/ [...] Patch-1.3/

you need these patchs to beable to find servers i thought the same thing i find 20 servers at anyone time.
