hi,i'm using vista ultimate to play my games but the games stutter please help

Whats the SPECS of your computer? Also knowing what game you are playing would also be a help?

my specs are gigabyte p35mobo,8800gt,intele6550,550watt gigabyte power supply

you have all drivers upto date?

WHAT games are you playing???

What screen res are you running them?

drivers are up to date.every game stutters,screen res 1280x1024

Your 8800gt is part of the cause, update your video card. and have 2 to 4Gigs of ram. update drivers for all of your devices and software.

8800gt should be fine at that res in a lot of games.

 

what specific games are you playing and how much RAM have you got?

it would be alot easier if you just stated the memory, cpu, gpu, and games your playing. It could also be the temperature your hardware is running at, your CPU or your Graphics card can be running hot which also can be effecting your gameplay. It can be more than one issue.
