I am running a
Gigabyte 945GCM-S2L Motherboard + Intel E6750 @ 2.66GHz with 2GB RAM + 9800 GT 1GB + Antec Earthwatts 500
What kind of games could i play at the moment and on what settings?

ok. Let say at 1280x1024 you will be able to run at medium quality almost all the games.

i guess you should tell us about what is your video card ^^, but you can play some hack and slash games or a 3d games like cabal online or a 2d one like ragnarok, luminary online and probably by that specs you can play some a strategic turn base mmo like atlantica online..

You can play pong.

or you can go the FPS route and download BioShock, Prey for $10 at Direct2Drive until the 31st.
depending on your ca$h and your genre you will have to decide. But all games out there can run on your system.
