What is it? No POST

My friend got a new computer, when he has the vid card in it will rarely POST after you leave it alone for 5+mins (he says). If you take the vid card out it comes on (but you can't see With it in when you give it power the fans do one turn but no other signs of life.

I will check with a different vid card and power supply on friday as well as checking the vid card in a diff comp.
Until then I could use any suggestions you guys might have.

He's got:
Biostar P4 Mobo w/2.4 533fsb (don't know more)
Inno3d Geforce4 4800
500W PSU (prolly crap, I suspect this is the prob)
cheap RAM of some sort

try a PCI card in the system, odds-on its either the PSU or a conflict between the GFX Card & mobo

Any PCI card or a PCI vid card, cause I don't have one of those. Either way I probably wont get to mess with it until Friday :frown:
