I have the following problem:

I am in an application and I copy data in the clipboard of Windows ( ctrl-c ), then I close the application and I open the application where I want to copy of the clipboard. The problem is that there are not data anymore in the clipboard. If I don't close the application where I takes the data and I open the application where I want to copy them, no problem. It have the problem when I close the application, the clipboard is emptied.

What applications are you copying between, and what are you copying?

That arrives when I copy text between Word and Outlook. If I take my text in Word and I close word, the clipboard is empty when I want to copy it in Outlook. If I don't close Word, the contents of the prcliboard are always there.

It is an example, but the problem seems generalized to all applications.

Damn, that's weird. Well, the only thing I could find is, if copy-paste doesn't work at all, then you have a virus. It's a variant of the Blaster worm. Scan your PC with the latest updates, and see if anything turns up. Other than that, I can't help much.

Good luck :)
