Hello everyone this is my first time posting but I have been reading this forum for a while now.
Anyways I just got a Gigabyte 8PE667 motherboard about 3 months ago, no problems until yesterday when I heard a loud sound coming from the case, later I found out that the 1 of the 4 latch that holds the heatsink/fan to the M/B and CPU was broken for no reason, has anyone ever have this happen to them?
also does anyone know if stores sell the bracket that holds the heatsink/fan to the M/B and CPU? I could get it RMA but Gigabyte really suck when it comes to support for defective product, have a look on the website and you will know what I mean, also it would be a lot quicker and cheaper just to buy the bracket and put it on my self, if anyone know anything about this let me know thank you.
