Hello All!

I just install a new system with a Asus P4C800 Deluxe motherboard.

All work fine but the On board LAN... it's enable in the BIOS but even Windows doesn't have a clue that it's there...
I have the latest Bios

Is there something I'm missing here?

Also I only have IDE drive so there's nothing connected to the Promise Raid/SATA Controller... Windows always report an error there... is that normal?

I can't use the 3Com update from Asus website (042_3c940.zip) because it's corrupted...

Try loading the LAN driver from your motherboard's CD.

Try disabling the Promise controller in BIOS. If you want to leave it turned on, at least load the driver for it, but you might still see an error with no drive, so I'd disable it.

Hello Crashman, I already did all this several time with no success...

Specially the LAN, the Device manager doesn't sees it at all... like if there's was no LAN on that MB...

Yep, I even disable it and re-enable it just to make sure...

I also sent 2 request from the Web to ASUS and no answer at all...
Any tip on who to contact (in North America first)
