Maybe this is a stupid question, but my system clock (or at least the one in Win XP pro) is messed up. I woke up this morning to a message that my computer had suffered a hardware failure and every time I try to reset the windows clock it jumps off time after 10 minutes or so. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
It could just be screwed up, like the chip is fried or something. Windows uses the onboard clock on your motherboard. Its possible your battery has gone bad, so you could try replacing it.
