I've been looking at a lot of motherboards with nforce2 chipset, but i was wondering which of them have the audio processing unit or if someone could tell me how to find out which boards have the nforce APU. What kind of motherboard with nforce2 would be best for and AMD XP2600, preferably under$100?

* nForce2 motherboards with MCP-T (with the exception of Chaintech 7NJS-ZENITH) utilize the nForce APU.

* Epox 8RDA+ is under $100 and utilizes the nForce APU.

I agree with that solution ... because it is a logical one.

I've bought the Abit NF7-s with the nforce2 with APU, Cracking board,....but if i had to recommand the Abit M/B, go for the NF7-S version 2, it has better on-board sound.

I got an Asus A7N8X Deluxe board with the Nvidia Soundstorm Audio. I had a Soundblaster Live 5.1 and I took that out because the nforce audio is really good.

If you want a nForce2 mobo with nForce APU for less than $100, then go for Epox 8RDA+
