HP Pavillian zt1130 shutting down

Please help!!!

My laptop keeps shutting down under heavy usage... installing programs,
during defrag, cleaning the hdd or even restoring the hdd in dos mode!!

What is going on?

Hi Maurice,

I had a similar problem with my HP Pavilion zt1130 a year and a half
ago. It was over heating. They ended up replacing the motherboard.
There hasn't been a problem since. Thank goodness I had an extended
warranty on the machine.
