I'm playing Quakelive CTF. It's late at night, a very tight 3v3 game and I have a bottle of vodka next to me. We go two flags up and I have their flag again. I am very comfortable farming the home armour, ammo and mega. I've held their flag for around 7 or 8 minutes reasonably easily against frequent attacks and I'm confident of holding on until the end of the game even if we don't get ours back.
.....and then I'm disconnected from the server!!! Nooooooo!!!

So what are your facepalm gaming moments?
Sucks dude lol, My worst gamming moment was the hardest and most annoying sections in a game ever "Rayman 64" (Dam you to hell!)
The game it self was easy but there was on barrel ridding section where u had to dodge walls/objects whilst in ridding a rocket type in a tunnel and could not slow down.
Took me 3 hours of screaming, shouting, sweating, almost crying…. then I finally did it! and turns out it was just for extra (lum) a bonus point!! 3 hours for bonus point!
F%*K you! Ray man! Threw the game out of the window never play the series since.
