when updating my bios my computer hunged after the precess of bios erase, when i tried to restart it nothing happens it wont even turn it self off what should i do? can it be fix? need help asap
is it one of those dual-bios motherboards? if so, just kill the power, and try to turn it back on. I think some of the gigabyte boards with d-bios have a switch on the board for situations just like this.
if not, and its the only bios available, then hope someone with more knowledge than me posts. I have never been able to recover a BIOS that was halfway through flashing and didnt finish...except with a gigabyte dual-bios. =(
well, he can send the board to the manufactuer and beg them to fix it, (it might also help if you mailed a limb along with the usual bribes to have your board be repaired)
you could also look for a repair shop nearby thatll do it, but whether they will/can is another question
or you could buy a new one, sorry man, not much you can do with a dead bios, theyre often cheaper to replace the board than fix
