Help with asus A7N8X deluxe (2.0) Please!!!

I have a asus A7N8X Deluxe (2.0) motherboard. I recently flashed my bios in the hopes of upgrading. I'm using windows xp and when I right clicked on "my computer" it lists my cpu as 1.49 ghz????? Why is that? And does anyone know how I can fix it. I know a little about pc's but not really bios stuff. Any help would be great.

got it. my fbs speed was lowered.

Ummm, you <b>really</b> need to tell us what cpu you have. Most likely it reset your fsb, so go into the bios and set it to what it needs to be
