Regarding the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe, I want to use only one SATA drive. Is it possible to not use RAID for the SATA feature? I received no response from helpdesk.asus.com

Yes, you can indeed use only one SATA drive.

will there be a problem moving the hd to another computer when u only got one hd like when u have a raid 0 array and u have to recreate ???

There shouldn't be any problem if you're using only one drive. The problems start with moving two or more drives to a different RAID controller. But thats a different story altogether.
