I read with great interest the article concerning upgrading the Asus P55T2P4 v3.10 to use the K-62+ processor http://www6.tomshardware.com/howto/20000725/t2p4-01.html. I checked one of my older computers and found that it was indeed a P55T2P4 v3.10 board. But with K6-2+ processors a rarity and expensive if found I was wondering if the board would support a regular K6-2/500 (or other speed). Any help with configuration information would be appreciated

Yes, when I upgraded to a K6-2+ 550 in a better board (SY-5ema+), I put my K6-2 550 in that old ASUS board and have it runing at 450 MHz... 75x6=450...

It ran fine at 500, but my games would crash at the high fsb... the pci was at 41 r something...

But it is rock solid with a fsb at 75 and pci at 37.5
