I'm building - well, trying - a system with an Intel D865GBF mobo. When I turn the system on, it boots up with the Intel logo/Intel screen saver type of deal ... then, if I hit ESC or DEL, it will go to the POST screen. But, I can never get past this screen -- I hit F2 or DEL and it just sits there saying this:
---------
"Entering Setup..."
Hit <F12> if you want to boot from the network
---------

So, I can't get into BIOS to mess around there and try to upgrade the bios, I can't do anything. Anyone see this and have any solutions I might try??

Specs: D865GBF, 2x256mb PC3200 Corsair (value), Maxtor 30gb hdd, on board video, on board lan, dvd drive, floppy, antec lanboy w/350ps

Thanks. -ot

Probably can't detect the hard drive and it's freezing.
Double check you hard drive jumper configuration. Although if it can't detect the hard drive you should still be able to enter the BIOS.
Also does the keyboard you are using have alternate functions for the F keys. Many Microsoft brand keyboards have alternate functions for the F keys. If it does it will have an F Lock key. When you see the Intel logo press the F Lock key then the F1 or F2 keys to enter into the BIOS.
