All,
I've been out of Diablo 2 for a while (ever since City of Heroes came
out) but I decided to play with my single player characters some. I
have a level 78 Necromancer I like, but I hate his name and I always
have. Is there any way to rename him in 1.10, in the expansion? All the
topics on this I searched for were from 2001 and older.

looking at my SP chars in ATMA (muling tool), the name field seems to be
editable and even has an Edit button. I never tried it, but it looks like
it could work.
And you also could edit the save game file names in your save folders, as
they all are name.extension format.

ATMA works. AFAIK, the character name is the only property you can
change with it anyway (besides importing and exporting items).
