Minimum Requirements:
512 MB system RAM
2.0 GHz processor
128 MB video card

I have (on this laptop):
1 GB DDR3 RAM
2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo processor
Intel GMA X4500

The potential problem I see here is the Intel GMA card, which might not be that good. Will Oblivion run smoothly on this laptop? If not, should I try Morrowind instead?

I'm going to wait 2 years before getting my gaming laptop. For now, I'll have to make do with my new Lenovo. :P

As always, thanks to everyone for helping out!

Your cpu is ok, but that Intel crap is just that, crap. 1 gig of ram is low, but enough. Turn the settings way down, no mods, itll play, but it is a beautiful game, and youll be missing out on alot of eyecandy. View distance and shadows, turn them way down, grass etc

Heres a link, it should help you optimize for the game, as well as Morrowind
