Counterstrike 1.6 optimal hardware?

Hi, i'm about to buy a new desktop computer to start playing counterstrike 1.6 again, (i know its an old game, i know its sucky graphics and i dont care

My problem is that in CS the setup determines alot in recoil control, spray, ping etc. which is really important when youre playing for money.

I know alot of the new CPU's out there arent actually doing as good as the old ones in CS, because the game is now so old. And from what i've heard the best thing atm would be the best dual core because the game only runs on 1 core.

Are there anyone out there who has really done their homework for the absolute best CS 1.6 setup? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out in picking a great hardware setup.
CPU, GFX, PSU and motherboard is what i need to know
