NForce2 GART driver install tips needed

Hi,

When I came to install my mobo drivers I chose to install them manually by extracting the nForce2 unified driver package and then then going to device manager and updating driver for each device which showed a yellow exclamation mark.

I'm having a problem with my Radeon 8500 not letting me enable fast writes even though it is enabled from BIOS. I figure it could be something to do with the GART driver?!? Anyway which device (I guess in the 'System devices' branch) would I need to update to install the GART drivers?

Thanks for your help. Any tips are welcome, maybe it was a bad idea for me to manually install the drivers?

I could be wrong but i believe the official word from ATI is the radeon doesnt use fast writes.

I second that. I would disable fast writes in your bios.
