I assembled my first Intel system. I was kinda worried about putting on the HSF on that shiny new MSI 875P mobo.
FInally, i managed to seat the HSF right and tight. THe processor is a P4 2.4GHz B (533FSB). After installing the RAM and the graphics card, i turned on the system to check if the mobo, RAM and the Graphics card were working fine.
In the BIOS, i found that the CPU fan was running at a meager speed of around 2500rpm and the CPU temp was about 60C. Is this normal for that CPU? I am worried about the CPU Fan speed. Did i do it right or screw it up??
Oh, btw, did anyone mention that the NorthBridge cooling fan has a cool twinkling LED lighting??
