I recently did a fresh install of Windows XP SP2 using a slipstreamed CD. Everything went fine, however, Norton Internet Security 2004 now does not install!

I can't even get to the stage of running LiveUpdate, because most of the sub-components just do not install. I get dialogs stating that "LiveUpdate cannot be used with this component", then "Installation of component x failed, Retry or Cancel".

But retry never works, and cancelling just cancels the whole install. Any ideas?
