When I changed my GA-8PE667 Ultra 2 (845PE)mainboard to GA-8IK1100 Pro (875P) I can not enable DMA for IDE devices on Win XP. The same thing happens on ASUS P4P800(865PE). Application Accelerator does not install on my 875P or 865PE. So I can not enable DMA and whenever I burn a CD (specially On The Fly Mode) my pc becomes very slow and unusable.

Damn man do ya think you have a long enough nickname heheh

Im guessing you didnt run the Intel chipset software installation utility and your still running on the defualt chipset drivers that windows installs, go to the intel website and get the utility, or use the disk that came with the motherboards which also include this utility.

<A HREF="http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/inf/inf.htm#xp" target="_new"> Here is the intel chipset Table </A>
