I am dual booting XP and Windows 7. My question is , how comes i get more FPS , like 50% more on XP than i get in Windows 7 RC . I have the latest Forceware installed on both OS. According to benchmarks , Win 7 was supposed to be faster than XP in games. So what's the problem ?

Remember that Windows 7 RC is still pretty much a Beta, where as XP is already at SP 3.
you can't expect too much from that Beta OS, after all its still being updated.

Need to wait for the RTM and good drivers. That's all. However my guess is, w7 will be slower than XP. Just because it uses more resources.

More PC memory for Windows 7, I've noticed performance boast in Far Cry 2 in Windows 7 RC1, about 15% faster than Windows Vista, 8400 Core2 Duo, Asus P5N-D, Graphics card: HD4890 - 1Gig
