Fully functional Alienware m15x-r1 laptop. Plays most games on high settings. . Hinge makes a creaking noise when you open it up but thats common on this type of alienware. Also, screws are visable near the hinges, but do not effect functionality. New screen was recently installed.

15.4 inch uxga 1920x1080 screen
- intel core2extreme 2.5ghz (with 2.8ghz turbo mode) processor
- 4gb ddr2 ram (expadable to 8)
- nvidia 9800gt 512mb dedicated video card (removable)
- 250gb 7200rpm harddrive
- dvd r/w
- Comes with system restore disk with drivers and Windows Vista ultimate.

Will ship and accept paypal. Or you may pick it up locally in Cleveland, Ohio.

Do you think the price is fair? I mean the barebones are like 250 on ebay. And ive seen complete systems go for around 7. Im willing to be flexible, but only if given a good reason to be flexible.

I looked at tons of used laptops.. you can take a look at my thread on the ASUS laptop that I'm selling. It's got better specs but... sadly laptops just sell for less cause... you can't really upgrade them so the price just goes down constantly.

Good luck selling it though. I'd recommend putting your laptop up on craigslist and pitching it as a "high end gaming laptop". I've gotten three offers on mine within a week, plus all your offers will (or should) be local so you won't have to worry about shipping it.

Yea im hoping for better luck on craigslist.

But you are wrong about the upgradability. My alienware does in fact have an upgradable video card. It has a mxm type 2.1 slot which will support nvidia 260m, 280m and
ATi: HD 3870, 4850(if you can find one). Make sure its properly cooled with those nvidias though!

The cpu might be upgradable as well.
