Name this old game please?

This is an old game I played about 10 years ago on a console I can't remember, using cartridge, 1 or 2 players. It's a fighting game, at start you pick a fighter (3 choices) then you fight through each level, you can pick up weapons like metal pipe, sticks, broken bottles and throwing knives (i think). At the end of each level there are 2 bosses, I can remember the boss from the first level is a tall guy with razer sharp claws. At any point during the game, you can call in a support power strike from a vehicle that will kill everything on the screen (or does serious damage to bosses). And the very last level is filled with bosses from previous levels, and the final final boss is a pair of female fighters jumping everywhere and nearly impossible to hit. I played this games so many times and never beat the final boss, can anyone please tell me what's this game called so I can try to finish it? Thanks

Sounds like Double Dragon to me

Glad I could help. I played this game for hours on end back in the day. It was on the Sega console and they went up to Street of Rage 3 I believe. Just reading your description of it brought back many memories. It was a great game!
