How to apply cheats

hey dude how to type the cheats in need for speed underground 2 .It is written in all sites that at the screen press enter .But it the cheats are not being applied in this way in the game.so how can i apply the cheats??? plz do reply dears

Dude seriously, I had that same problem, but I tried playing through the game. It's actually easier than the first NFSU, so unless you're looking to complete everything, not being able to cheat shouldn't be a big problem for you.
