Any answer to this question is going to be speculation, as I don't think Ubisoft have released the minimum specs yet. I'm led to believe that the game will run an improved version of the same engine, so it should be a jump, but not a huge one. If I were forced to speculate, I would say your graphics card might struggle a bit. But if you're upgrading only for AC2, wait until nearer the time. You'll get more bang for your buck.
thx alot deetee_uk :
but i wonder how they didn't release the game requirements till now..they've released a demo gameplay for the E3 2 moths ago!! i mean there are 3 monthes only left for the game release as it will be in next November..
When Rockstar released GTA IV on pc I knew the requirements 4 months before it !! doesn't looks 2 bee late??
i agree with the card situation. my 4850 could not handle AC1 maxed out at 1680 x 1050.

makook_99 - I think when companies do this, it's more about covering themselves. If they make a last minute change, they don't have to change any of the announcements about sepcifications. It also means people won't be shouting at them after building a pc in advance.
I'm waiting to see as well, because I'm really looking forward to AC2. And the next Thief game. And Borderlands. And Dragon Agerigins. And......

Are you sure about what u say u can max it with the 4850??
comparing the 8600 GT with the 4850 ..the 4850 wins of cours..this is a point, plus
i can max it easily with the 8600 GT on 1280 x 1024 I didn't even try 1680 x 1050..the difference i think wont be big..
