Nope for east coast i recommend http:// www.frozencpu.com b/c although their prices are a bit more than newegg new egg charges A LOT for shipping (at least to ct) so unless you live in the lower half the money you save at newegg is more than made up for by shipping costs
I once paid 15 dollars shipping for
92mm fan
thermal epoxy
thermal grease
and that was their standard super saver shipping or w/e they call it
Now i'm not saying new egg sux, if i lived in the lower half of U.S. i would buy from there.
Lucky for you frozen cpu is in new england (kinda close to canada tho).

Note how I said.. near the New York/New Jersey area.. I don't want to order from CA because it will take a week to get to me... ouch!

So basically I need NewEgg prices at someplace local to the New Jersey area..

I ordered my case from New Egg. It arrived at my house in two days. I live in FLA. It should not take one week to get too New York or Jersey.

wow that's suprising.. I went to the Fedex site now and looked up transit time from NewEgg to me and it said 5 days.. Maybe you had 2-day select shipping from Fedex.. but not regular ground express saver..

According to my FedEx tracking, everything I've ever purchased from New Egg has come out of California. That aside, half of the stuff on New Egg has free shipping anyway, so that's not much of a factor. Time, I guess, is the only factor that would really matter here.

nah I wasn't responding to you.. I was responding to: andlcs when he recommended NewEgg because NewEgg is in CA. I see that FrozenCPU is in NY.. which is good... but is there any place that might be like NewEgg prices but on the East coast?

Why does CA have tons of computer shops and lower prices anyhow?
