I'm looking to buy 2 sticks of 512mb corsair 3200 for my Asus P4C800 deluxe mobo but recently I visited asus's website for this mobo and under the qualified memory types it didnt even list the corsair brand name.

http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/socket478/p4c800-d/overview.htm

But at the same time I read the i875 mobo review here at tomshardware and the 2 sticks of 256 corsair 3200 ran beautifully on the motherboard. So I'm a little confused. Will the corsiar ram run on this mobo?

for some reason, corsair's 256 meg sticks seem to work fine, but its a completely different story with 512 sticks. everyone had problems with the 3200 ones, but the 3500 seem to work just fine, from what i heard...

you wont be stable unless you drop your timings, and when you pay for xms, you dont want you 2 cas ram to become 2.5 or 3.

the same happens with kingston's hyperx, well i would just stick up with corsair 3500 if you want 1 gb of ram...
