A few days ago my system randomly shut down, and would not power on again until I disconnected it from the power outlet and reconnected it. It has done this about 8 times now. I opened it up and verified that all the fans are working, and nothing seemed overheated. I have installed MBM and the temp. looks fine. After I opened it up, the screen would go blank following the Win2K splash screen, though I could hear that the system was still on. The video stays on only if I run Windows in VGA mode. Any ideas? I definitely don't have enough extras to be overworking the PSU, so maybe it's just a dud, I don't know. I'm not overclocking anything.

You might want to list the video card and power supply. I had a similar problem with my last shuttle board, and it was the power supply. If you decide to replace it, check out newegg's refurbished section. I just ordered a 450 watt for $19 shipped.
