Anyone eagerly anticipating this new game that's due to be released sometimes early 2010?

You need to have an up-to-date Battle.net account, and then opt-in for upcoming beta tests. Go to www.starcraft2.com for the details.

Oh man I can't wait. There is some new footage from Blizzcon that's around too. It looks amazing to me. Hopefully I don't have to do a system upgrade to play it on high settings though. ^_^

From what I've learned, Blizzard gears their games so that they can be played by the masses and not just those with $2,000 computers.

I just hope SC II and D3 doesn't come out in same year, or else my career, my college and possibily my marriage may suffer.

nope. My dreams were crashed when they said no Lan support. I wont buy it until they give me lan. Screw Battle Net

They added Lan support. It will just need to phone home to valide the copy to play in play. Inconvenient, but yes, we have Lan support.

its been 10 years and counting... come to think of it, WoW killed sc2 and diablo3 cuz all of blizzards resources went to the development of WoW instead

I never really got into Starcraft or Diablo. I will for sure be buying those 2 titles. Blizz always makes a solid game.

they had the starcraft battlechest for $11.99 a couple weeks ago so I snagged it because i'd got hyped up reading some sc2 articles...

I don't want to get too excited about it because there's no telling when it will be released. I think it's been like.... on the cusp of release for the past 2 years and they just keep bumping it back to the following year.

most major retail/etail outlets have it on their sites w\ different dates ranging from 4Q 2009 to 2010. I'm buying it right away no questions asked.

------------------------------ 6000-X2, 8gb ddr2-6400, 2x 150gb raptor x, 512mb HD3870, 550w
corsair modular psu, gigabyte aurora3d (way too huge for my mobo! )

Actually there releasing SC 2 in 2010 along with the new WoW expansion Cataclysm. Were gonna have to wait till 2011 (at the earliest) for Diablo 3 to come out :(
