Will a 1.6ghz P4 work with a P4C800 deluxe?

Since the 1.6ghz intel processors only run at 400 mhz and the P4C800 dlx runs at 800mhz FSB, will the processor run on the mobo?

Yes, assuming it's socket 478 and not socket 423. It will just run at 100 MHz (QDR400) instead of 200 MHz (QDR800).

don't buy a 1.6, only use it if that's what you own already and you are holding off on a CPU upgrade.
