I recently bought a new AMD2400+ processor, with a
Gigabyte board.
I installed it, and an hour later i started to see
horizonal "ghosts" on my screen.
as minutes passed, the ghosts became more and more densed,
until the power supplier was burned.
I got my power supplier replaced - and it was burned the
same way again - this time taking my 2 HD's, and a burner
with it.
does anyone have an idea why this keeps happening?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean.. your saying two PSU's have died, and the 2nd time permanently disabled your HD's and burner? What type of power supplies were you using?
Did you replace it with the same watt and brand psu?
If you did there is a good chance that your powersupply just doesn't have the output to run your system.
What powersupply/supplies have you used and encountered this problem with?
About the hard drive and cd-rw failing...that is probably related to the fact that when a powersupply is under extream load the voltages fluctuate this could be enough to cause these items to fail.
