I am thinking of Upgrading to the ECS L7S7A2, and AMD 2400+ 266FSB and 512 PC 2700 DDR.
I want to keep the 256 MB 2100DDR that I already have in order to run Star Wars Galaxies more efficiently. Atleast until i can spend more money on RAM

A couple Questions

I read in a review that the highest multiplier you can set is 12.5 which would mean a FSB of 160Mhz if I want the full 2400+ speed. Would this work with this setup?

Note: you can change the CPU FSB:RAM ratio. This leads me to believe that my memory would be ok if I made the CPU FSB faster than the RAM. I guess the limitation might be the CPU since its only 266 (133Mhz FSB). Any thoughts or experiences would help out a lot.

Thanks,
Ben

I have my 1700+ almost at 2400+ speeds using that board. You should be able to run at 166x12.5 no problem.
