How to instal os from recovery in dell

Hello,I need to do a system recovery on my dell computer. tried using the
original cd to to do this but sence it has windows 7 with homepremium it would not work becuase I have ultimate I need help on how to do this please.

what part of the recovery screen are you able to get to before it tells you can't update?

how did you get ultimate then?
through a windows anytime upgrade?
what is your problem that you need to do a system recovery?
