Question on trade values

Now, I'm deeply cynical of the trade market in general, and tend to view
traders that claim to have "legit" wares with a healthy dose of scepticism.

However, today I popped a grand charm in the cube with some pgems, and out
came a +1 druid elemental skills with 24 life. Not a bad little charm. In
addition, I recently found a grand charm with +1 poison and bone skills and 16
life. Both USWest SC Ladder. If I'm reading Alice's guide to trade values
correctly, each of these charms could potentially fetch multiple Ist runes on
the open market.

Here's my problem. While I fully believe that almost all the resulting Ist
runes would most likely be the result of duping, botting or forge rushing
(three things I consider against the spirit of the game to varying degrees),
and while I most likely wouldn't want the resulting Ist runes for myself, the
runes could be put to good use by my fellow AGDers in various runewords, or
used to trade for other useful items for builds that players such as Dalai and
Jabber are constantly undertaking.

Trade, or not to trade, that is the question.

Hehehe, I guess I wasn't reading it right. 5.5 Ists only? Pfft, hardly
worth bothering with.

Oh, having played this game longer than most, I'm long since over the concept
of exploits, cheats, or just plain cheese in the game, and long since made the
choice as to what I'm going to partake in, and what I'm not. However... I
was considering the other aspect of it, which is what's the most fun. I
already know from past experience that having lots of high level gear isn't
necessary fun, nor is fixating upon it, the hunt being more fun than the
having, for me. However, I also know that playing variant builds IS fun, and
that some of them require specific gear, and having some high grade fodder for
the trade scene, as whacky as the trade scene might be, could help fuel a
couple of new Dalai and Jabber builds, which could be fun if I get to follow
their progress. Just in the same way that some of us magic find as much to
find gear to give to others as we do to get gear for ourselves. :)

Is *that* the way that quote goes? I'd come up with my own, to amuse
the younger son, who wants to be an actor:

"Whether 'tis nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous
fortune, or to totally flub up the line."
