Ive had them in my puter for 2 years and want to upgrade to a GTX 580 single card.
Im able to play ( with a 920 i7 @ 3.5 and 12 gigs of corsair Mem on a asus P6T v2 )
BF3 on mostly all high settings, but ultra is too slow. These cards were 150 each
when I bought them so 1/3rd off should not be a bad deal. Things look so great
at 1920 x 1080, especially with Nvidia 3D glasses on !!!

100 bucks for the two cards and SLI ribbon and I don't want to
split them up, I will pay for shipping and insurance

Paypal or postal money order is fine.

The new 580 is just fantastic !!! Having 3 gigs of mem on one card must make a big difference, as the two 9800gt's have one gig each, but they do not add up to two.

Hmm. It's not allowing me to send it. I'll ask here :p
-Are they 512MB or 1GB?
-Do they require a PCI connector?
-Would you consider splitting them up? I realize this may tack a bit on to the price.

Thanks.

They are pciE cards.........and to really run games well, they really both need to be in SLI mode,
or they really would not be worth the money. I put them both on CL for 80 for the 2 cards
and really dont want to split them up, as then the ribbon that connects the two will be
worthless. If I get another person who wanted one, I would consider doing this
for 50 each.

Thanks

..What's wrong with it?
Selling it for $100 sure makes it seem like something's wrong. But hey, that's me.

OP you might wanna jump on that xD

Sorry for misunderstanding, Yes, each card needs a 6 pin power connector.

It's 100% fine, just a new card from EVGA that I want to trade for something less powerful. I noticed that the OP wanted a GTX 580 anyway, so a trade might be something that he's interested in.

ctguy1955 -
I have 2 GTX 580's if you're interested in either of them. A used Zotac AMP! and my new EVGA card. Let me know.

Its too bad, as that would have been a nice thing, but I paid so much more for the 3 gigs and I dont want to give that up
What about just having the card in the computer and not in SLI mode, could one be used for PHYSX or or does that
really not a great thing? I was going to do that with one of my 9800's and I was told not to..... as the 580 was more
then fine at doing it. BF3 is why I bought the card, and I was told it does not even use physx anyway ??

thanks for your info and knowlege on computers, I was pretty on top of things back in 88 when I put
3K into an amiga 500, and I build my own puters now from parts bought, but I just dont know much any
more about all the technical stuff now a days.

I ran CCleaner, and now turn off my firewall when playing BF3 online, but I want to be able to get the most out
of my system that I can.

here are my specs now:

CPU: Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
Speed : 2.67 GHZ (overclocked to 3.6)
Motherboard: ASUS P6T DELUXE V2
Memory: 12 gigs of Corsair CM3X2G1600C9 2GB DIMM DDR3 PC3-12800U DDR3-1600
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 580 (1584) 3 gigs of mem
Hard drives: "2" WDC WD740ADFD-00NLR5 (74.4GB, SATA150, 3.5", 10000rpm, NCQ, 16MB Cache) : 69GB ( I have BF3 installed in a seperate partition by itself )
"1" WDC WD7500AADS-00L5B1 (750.2GB, SATA300, 3.5", NCQ, 32MB Cache) : 699GB
dvd:HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH20LP20 (ATA66, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 2MB Cache)
Optiarc DVD RW AD-7170A (ATA66, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 2MB Cache)
Case: Antec nine hundred two
X-fi XtremeGamer sound card
Creative Labs T7700 7.1 surround sound speaker system
Zalman 9900 LCD CPU cooler ******* at least im not running a stock cooler
Corsair TX850W Power Supply
Cyberpoint 850 AVR LED UP
Acer GD235 monitor ( 120 hz for 3D, and only 1920 x 1080 )

I want to buy the new Corsair M-60 mouse that is coming out in a few days, and then in Jan
I want to get the new 4 core 3d recon sound card, in hopes of being able to
hear people coming up behind me better then now.

There are so few games that use PhsyX that it's really not worth having a dedicated card for it. Your system is geared to run BF3 very well at 1920x1080 for near max settings.

I use a Titanium Professional Fatal1ty sound card and an Asus ROG mouse. They work far better than I could have hoped for the game, but I really don't care for BF3 all that much.

I bought MW3 as well and I enjoyed it as a single player, but not for multi.
cant wait for Half Life 2 episode 3 to come out, especially with my new
graphics card. The card came with 3D mark 11 and because Im running driver
8.17.12.8562 instead of 8026, it says my scores are very low. If I change the
drivers to the one they want, I wonder if Ill get better BF3 playtime ???
I was just about to go on EVGA forum to find out and checked my email first.
