I'm using an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe with a Seagate S-ATA Hard disk. In the BIOS I've found and option related to the Hard Disk configuration called "32bit Data Transfer".
What is it?
Should I enable it?
(I use Windows 2000 SP3)

I'd like to know a little more about it because by default 32bit Data Transfer is disabled.

Don't quote me on this but I think it's a legacy setting for old hard drives which could only manage 16 bit data block transfers, modern ones supporting 32 bit blocks which improves performance.

Please, if anyone else can confirm or correct this.
