i just got abit is7. i don't know how to install the NIC driver. I have suse 8.2 and its hardware detection didn't get it right i guess. the driver installation info is <A HREF="http://fae.abit.com.tw/download/drivers/3com/3c940/linux/readme.txt" target="_new"> here</A>. the installation guide is a bit confusing (one of the problems i have with it is that i don't know where kernel source is installed nor know what it is). there isn't /usr/src/linux or /usr/src/linux-2.4. just /usr/src/[some other folder]. i'm hoping once i can go online with suse, i can connect to their auto update thing. thanks.
